*About The Harleys

The Harleys are a classic rock and roll band from Seguin, Texas. The original band formed in 2001 to perform “Born to Be Wild” at a youth event at Texas Lutheran University. They had so much fun they decided to play again. So they lined up a gig a few weeks later at Austin Street Live and were surprised to find money in the tip jar at the end of the evening. They were amused when they thought about people actually paying them to play and decided to give the money to a local charity. Thus, the idea of “Rocking for Charity” was born. Since that first gig almost 8 years ago, the Harleys have helped raise over $300,000 for local charities. In 2006 they were named Seguin’s Citizens of the Year and in 2008 they were voted the “Best Local Band” in the Seguin Gazette Enterprise Reader’s Choice Awards. Even though they play exclusively for charity causes, these guys are serious musicians who are still rocking and raising money for organizations that help people and educational programs.
